Why can you no longer report profiles for "financial interests"?

I see tons of unflagged FinDomme and Paypig profiles created here (mostly fake), and have reported many which haven't been flagged as having financial interests in the profile settings, but I see that option as been removed from the list when reporting a profile.

Does this mean these profiles are now allowed on the site? I can see the quality of profiles taking a nosedive if so, as the site will be even more spammed with scammers and fakes pretending to be FinDommes.

Free market Capitalism is actually the most moral system.
Anyway a good rule if thumb is simply: Feed the good wolf🐺

I just checked using your profile and "Financial Interests" is still there as a reason

I was asking myself the same thing, the number of scammers is already increased, it's kind of ruining the app a bit

It very much isn't, but a discussion about that is out of scope here.

The important thing is a mismatch of what people are actually looking for here.

If the proportion goes way off, where most people are looking to avoid findommes and most of what is unflagged become findommes, then that very much reduces the quality of the site

I’m finding similar problems and I’m paying for the upgrade which really doesn’t feel like one, I’m new to the kink world trying to learn but can’t seem to find the help to guide me in the right direction!

I just checked using your profile as well…and financial interests is definitely still there

What percentage of females that approach are you guys experiencing to be fake/scams?(obviously I don't have that perspective so I'm curious what it's like)

Me personally? Very few if any at all - but then my guard immediately goes up if I receive an unsolicited message from a female profile if I can't tell from the profile content that it's genuine or not from someone on the forums

Can you elaborate on what constitutes genuity for you as a user? I think it would be good for the younger/more naive ppl on site if you gave ppl pointers on what to avoid

I think there are two things here.  Firstly as others have said, you certainly can still report profiles for financial interests.  Now the question that leads on from that is does the site act on these reports.  I'm assuming here that most of these are because the profiles themselves state findom or paypigs.  If not, how are you finding this out?

@Gilly222 if they are self-reporting it makes a big difference to the question about how many are fake/scammers.  So will wait for som answers from others

One thing to me is an immediate request or even demand to chat on another platform, or email or text, before any actual conversation of substance has even occurred

Also, this platform seems to block many profiles before I've even looked at them ^_^ on the one hand, this is great! On the other, I have zero idea why they keep profiles in view if they're blocked. Wastes a ton of my time when I see like 20 profiles all come up blocked. Those shouldn't even be in view!

A lot of it comes down to gut instinct - but certain other "tells" always put me on my guard - very limited or pat profile text, pictures that look like stock pictures, even simply the content of a message, or the fact it's been sent in the first place are all give aways for me

Thank you. Tbh hadn't considered that guys could be being actively approached &groomed for *** on here🤮

I stopped commenting on a social media app as I'd often be approached by a widowed army vet who just needed 50k to access his account hahaha

Avoiding people who only have financial interests is irrelevant if they’re being encouraged. Per your free market comment, people will go where there is *** to be made. As has become near endemic on other apps, if someone can go on an app and promote their premium Snapchat or OF with success, then that will eventually become the dominant profile model. Anecdotally, I’ve seen it on so many apps of varying degrees of repute, from Tinder, to Feeld, to Grindr (they’re the absolute worst). If indulging transactional interactions isn’t prohibited, then it is encouraged, and if it’s encouraged, it will become the de facto use for any app where people want to actually chat and meet. Apps like Fet need to nip this issue in the bud and not allow that type of behavior in any form. If people really want to give their *** to someone with no reciprocation, there are other venues for that (and they’re seldom legitimate).

Yeah? You came to this app to pay for it? No? Well neither did most of us.

Wouldn’t it be fuckin aces if there were an app out there where people can meet like-minded individuals without being inundated by prostitutes and scammers?

It's futile to appeal to an authority who's financial interests cannot be verified as less significant than their moral objectives

If you’re saying that, because the app makes *** off of those who solicit, the app is likely to let the solicitors remain, rather than remove them on moral grounds, then the cynic in me agrees. Though, I don’t remember any of those solicitors that I’ve come across having paid memberships.

This site/app has really gone down the toilet over the last 12 months.

If you're unlucky enough to live near a big city like London then 50% of profiles you come across are fake/just after *** - either findoms, scammers, whores, cam girls, selling content, or losers using pics they've stolen from porn sites or Instagram.

Then you have the 45% of ghost profiles - those where someone signed up and then never actually used the site... which leaves about 5% actually here for legit fet related interactions.

Site owners don't give a shit. Site admins the same. You come across a scammer and post a comment on someone's wall warning others to beware and you get punished and told to "be friendly" towards them. And we're paying for this shit...

Oh and they did remove "financial reasons" from the list briefly as I noticed that as well when reporting a profile. Whether that was intentional or by mistake I don't know.
